At Studio in a School, we create real pathways for college students to explore and pursue careers in the arts and cultural sectors. Recognizing the barriers that can make it difficult for talented young people to enter these fields, our founder Agnes Gund established the Arts Intern College Program in 1999.

Today, Arts Intern continues to create life‑changing opportunities for college students with demonstrated financial need through paid summer internships at leading arts and cultural organizations. Interns gain meaningful professional experience, personalized mentorship, and a sense of belonging within their communities. These internships show students the expansive possibilities of creative careers, changing what they ever thought was possible.

Will you help us open doors to lifelong careers in the arts? Please consider supporting an Arts Intern today.
